Over the past decade Halfdan E has become one of the most successful composers in Danish film.
As a film composer he has been awarded several Danish Academy Awards for his scores, e.g. for 'Drabet' (Manslaughter), ‘Arven’ (Inheritance), ‘Bænken’ (the Bench) and ‘Okay’. His latest work includes music for the critically acclaimed TV series ‘Borgen’ ( The Government), as well as for the Norwegian film ‘En ganske snill mann’ (A somewhat gentle man) starring Stellan Skarsgaard.
His work has won two Danish Grammy Awards, three Danish Robert Awards, and most recently his score for the Danish TV series The Government won the prestigious Fipa d’Or Grand Prize for best original soundtrack 2011.
