I see no reason why these folks shouldn’t be the next big thing in the industry: it was absolutely amazing to get a glimpse of the sheer variety and quality of their projects.
For those not knowing what the heck TFL is (I didn’t, but I learned..), to put it in their own words, ‘TorinoFilmLab is a year-round, international laboratory that supports emerging talents from all over the world working on their first and second feature films, through training, development and funding activities’.
A great institution obviously run by people who know how to do it right.

Thanks to the talents of Lars D. Terkelsen, my in-house frined and colleague, coffee and nargilah conoisseur and now web wrangler, I now have a website that is actually updateable – by a dork like me, that is.
Viewable on iPhone as well, although it should be the other way around, Apple acknowledging the wonders of Flash.
Nag nag.

Feel free to let me know if we missed out something. I would love this site to be both informative and entertaining.

It is great. CG himself quotes this film as the ‘Paradise Hotel’ of EU, in the sense that we get a fantastic and unusually intimate sneak peak behind the scenes of a world that seems dull and closed to most folks. Not anymore, and I’m proud to say that I composed the score for this one (with an 11th hour hand from Lars D. Terkelsen, that is)

Watch out for this one, it is said to have been sold to at least 12 countries in the EU zone (God, I hate that name – who ever want to live in anything as unsexy as a ‘zone‘ !?). No wonder, as it is both as entertaining as anything by John Le Carré , educating (did you actually know we have a president of the EU !?) and great fun. Not very many directors can pull this off, but Christopher G. is in a league of his own.

The series itself won the gold prize for best series in competition with some of the best production companies worldwide, among them BBC. I can’t get my hands down, as this series, featuring mostly talking heads, politics, a female prime minister and absolutely no car chases and exploding helicopters, was no easy decision for the producers, yet they saw the potential and, quite bravely I must say, fought for its survival. We all talk innovation and taking risks, this prooves that it’s worth it.

As this is the first international prize I win, I will immediately open a bottle of whiskey and empty my revolvers in the air. Yeeehaah !
